I consider install from yum is the best way.
rpm --import http://poptop.sourceforge.net/yum/RPM-GPG-KEY-PPTPrpm -Uvh http://poptop.sourceforge.net/yum/stable/rhel6/pptp-release-current.noarch.rpmyum install ppp pptpd -y
